I really doubt they have. If they had, they would have done it years ago. I'm not sure whether it's fine on other CDMA networks like Tata/BSNL.

I was using tata before this. No problem what so ever... Dad uses tata CDMA... No problem at all with his number

Today had a word with a senior officer who deals with regulatory from reliance. He was baffled to find the wrong form posted and promised that it will be rectified by tomorrow. And also promised me to look into the matter for the number prefix.
On saturday, got a call from some Vishwanath. He was asking me which form do i want again and again. He knew nothing about the appeal form. And for the prefix he said that i need to change all my numbers.
