There is a good news for all those who have been awaiting to get license for FM Phase 3 station. Ministry of I & B has called the bid to appoint the auctioneer for auctioning the Frequencies for setting up FM stations- 839 channels in 294 cities. The last date for the bid for auctioneer is 20th June. If the things go right, the bidding may start from around August 2014.
The time left can be utilised by the future FM broadcasters to decide the places of interest, prepare the documents, make their estimation for cash inflow and outflows and get ready for the bidding.
