Dsl-502 T Status: Download Stream Changed!

i have trib_unlimited plan.
re-installed windows and now am getting only 26KB/sec instead of the usual 31KB/sec(earlier win).(chk the SS)
checked the status of adsl in router page. the downstream has been set to 256kbps. earlier it used to be 288kbps.
can i change it back to 288kbps by any means? even 2Mbps wud do! 😉

^^^Dude, most delhi unlimited and night unlimited users are downgraded to 256 from 288, u r not alone....And u cannot do anything to increase the speed except for changing d plan from unlimited to limited one which I am sure u wont like....
 
😱 man a reinstall was not needed at all. MTNL is playing with the unltd guys first their speeds were increased to 2 mbps now reduced to even less than wat they originally had.I think they are now following Mumbai policy where sync rate for 256 K line is 256 only and not 288 K
 
I am synced at 288 but getting bad speeds. Max with download managers is 27 kBps

yes. if one calculates, it's a loss of about 4kB/s :-(
man. this is like feelin cheated, after payin so much!
 
has anyone tried calling those poeple up and asking em about the downgrade from 288 to 256??? even if we have 256..they should give us 256/8=32 kBps transfer rate...?? is 'nt it??

tried calling the CC. put on hold always :angry: and the f***** music plays. :angry:
 
as i am usually awake till midnight....i call those poeple at around 2-3.....us time no hold nothing.....un logon ki soti huee awaaz hoti hai....lolzz
