What if it doesn't get credited back to my account? I already checked, and it hasn't been credited to my smart card, but I got a SMS from HDFC stating that 950 Rs has been debited from my account, and that too twice. How do I know if it gets refunded back to my account?

As you see in the below screenshot, I have been charged for the transaction that was never credited to my Delhi metro smart card. Will it be refunded back to my account within 48 hours?

Its always better to send a support email to Delhi metro website where you were recharging, Always include the details about failed
recharge, date, time, amount, used bank, and a screenshot would help on above of those details.
They would check their records and do the needful for sure.
if the payment is credited, they can manually credit your card,if the payment is credited but not claimed, they might refund it automatically after time specified in their accounting back-end.
if the payment was credited but not processed, it would need to be manually processed as soon as you claim it.
There are many things involved so speed it up its always way better to Inform them instead of waiting 2-3 days and then start the process.
Money was "paid on the records" so its never lost, until you really work hard to make it difficult for the bank/provider to track it

Yes you will. If they try to trace the money they will find out that it did not go anywhere. It cannot be lost in between. Try contacting both HDFC and DMRC.

Does HDFC have any helpline for Delhi NCR which I can contact regarding this issue?

Just received a reply from DMRC. When I checked last time, the amount was not credited to my smart card. Lets see if its credited to my smart card now

As per our record you have made two transactions of Rs.950/-. One by user registration & other by quick top up.
Both of txn are successful.
As per our analysis of txn, you may go to AVM for recharge or for any query please give your contact number.
Please reply as soon as possible so that we solve your problems.

Problem fixed. They added the value to my smart card, although maximum value that can be maintained in the smart card at once is only 1000 Rs which sucks

Footage of couples getting intimate on the Delhi Metro has reached international porn sites. More than 250 clips of couples on near-empty trains have been made into two- to eight-minute videos and uploaded on these sites, a Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) official told Hindustan, requesting anonymity.
The bulk of these clips has been uploaded since 2011.
A leakage of this scale from its central control room, if found true, could embarrass the DMRC and raise a big privacy issue.
Hindustan, the Hindi daily published by HT Media, contacted DMRC spokesperson Anuj Dayal on phone but did not get a response. A senior DMRC official said CISF was to blame because it monitors the CCTV footage.
But director general, CISF, Rajiv refuted the allegation. “We are just the monitoring agency. DMRC controls the database into which this CCTV footage goes, and so the leak most likely happened at its end,” he said.
