Setting up 3g wifi at home.

Hello everybody.I want to setup a 3g WiFi at my home, I believe it is called mifi.I've been using broadband for quiet some time now, but broadband kind of speed plus added advantage of mobility seems intriguing. So giving the good old broadband an adieu.To start with I've a humble 1bhk apartment to cover.I've the old WiFi modem, a couple of 3g sim cards and an old/not in use Micromax canvas 2 which can be used to tethering but I assume is not recommended, at my disposal.At times there will be more than 5 users but will seldom exceed 10.I found Huawei Wingle E8131 & Micromax 440which are 3-4k, was looking for some cheaper alternatives.Or any other you have been using.Which one will suit my need the best given the scenario?Thanks.
