How to Create a Connection to Manually Connect BSNL Internet

Hi,
I have iBall baton 150m wireless modem and Bsnl isp. I am using windows 8 in my pc. So i want to connect my internet connection manually because i have limited data balance. When i setup my modem at 192.168.1.1 my internet get connected whenever i turn on my pc. I know if i disable the ethernet adapter then my internet connection will disconnect but i will lost also the lan connection as well. So i need to disable that always on connection and create a manual connection so i can connect to internet when i need.
Please anyone tell me how i can do this ?

I got it,
First set your wan to bridge connection,
then reboot modem,
now restart pc
now create a connection in networks
