Great.Btw @mediafire,I thought you were using BSNL evdo with good speeds,any specific reasons for switching over? Or are you posted in some place without evdo coverage?

evdo is for PC/laptop and 3G is for mobile , not able to figure a way to share internet over wifi in windows 8 laptop
anyhow would need a connection on the move

connectify, virtual wifi , tried command prompt method also
but not able to make it work , think i should get help from this forum thru a different thread when i get time

If you feel it is very much neccessary,How about getting a wifi router? There are many available in the market for Rs 1500~.you could use your lappy as well as mob via wifi 🙂Also using your lappy as a hotspot for emergency purposes is ok,but in the long run it surely isnt good for the batterys health considering the heat generated and stress on os.
 
Just a heads up don't do speed test without a data plan, just got charged over rs 40 doing a speed test which took 13mb of data
 
Haha. "Pay as you go" is expensive @3p per 10kb. This one time, I thought they charged me @1p per 10kb. I thought the charges have been brought down but that wasn't the case.
