Impressive photoshop work in that cast. Otherwise Japanese people are so efficient that they have given an entire train for demo!

Rs.100 crores per km for bullet train

ABP News has learnt from reliable and informed sources that the feasibility report prepared by the Railway Ministry, as submitted before the Assurances Committee, clearly states that line laying only for the Ahmedabad-Pune-Mumbai route would cost a whopping Rs. 49076 crores.

On an average the cost for the bullet train will come to about Rs.100 crores per kilometre.

The report also mentions that Internal Rate of Return (IRR) would be around 11.42%.

The Assurances Committee Wednesday started deliberating on this feasibility report.

High-speed train may be scrapped - The Times of India

"A high-level delegation of China Railway Eryuan Engineering Group Co Ltd (CREEC), which did the track inspection of the 500 km corridor, has suggested straightening of over 100 curves with more than five degrees angle each. Also, this entails acquiring extra land, rehabilitating people and rebuilding bridges and level crossings at different points. This needs huge investment of multiple crores and time. If we want to build new tracks, it may cost more than Rs 200 crore per km. Hence, it may not be feasible to implement the project along the corridor," officials at RVNL connected with the project told TOI on Tuesday.

Japan has been a trusted partner of India. Japan has provided dozens of major loans for India's major Infrastructure project including Delhi Metro.

Now Japan is offering to finance $15 Billion (10000 Crore Rupee) for Bullet Train from Ahmadabad to Mumbai, 500 Km stretch

Now Modi Govt should not waste this opportunity. Japan is ready to finance project with all the technical expertise. China is also offering Loan for Delhi-Mumbai corridor of 1200 Km at reasonable prices.

My advice to Modi Govt - Don't waste time. If you're really interested in economic development / Bharat Vikas. These projects must be approved & implemented as quickly as possible.
