BSNL to spend Rs 2,000 crore on broadband infrastructure
BSNL has already announced their plans to enhance the internet speeds of their customers to up to 2 mbps starting next year.
The company has now said that they would be investing about Rs 2,000 crore to augment its broadband infrastructure in urban and rural areas.

Hmm... if they say that they'll bring in Broadband by 2007 I guess it will take atleast till 2010 for us to taste Mbps speeds. Coz the establishment of infrastructures, equipments, cable laying and other processes will sure take that much time... 😛
