512 cannot be always relied on getting a continuous stream when you take into the account the losses in the line and other factors. So i'd say that having a 1 mbps is necessary for a trouble free viewing.
for the last two days i havent been able to watch pay channels... and now the cable guy says that he's now distributing siticable's cas instead of hathway's... and will give me siticable's stb... dunno what to do... 🙁
finally got it changed. its GalaxZee now for me. but certainly, the quality is better, plus i also have the bbc world service radio apart from 7 other stations and tv channels... i'm happy! 😀
