Net Disconnects When I Get Calls On My Telephone

A Strange thing is happening since 3-4 days. Whenever I get a call on my MTNL Landline and If someone attends the calls, then ADSL light goes off and Internet connection drops. The modem needs a restart after the call is over. Can anyone help me resolve this issue ?

Is the tel instrument connected before Adsl Filter cum splitter or not ???

No the telephone is connected after the ADSL Filter

Nope it isn't the router..its the splitter..u hven't connected the telephone line after the splitter...remember it cud spoil ur telephones..happened to me..lot of times..all my caller id phones went bad..since data from the interenet..was interfering with the telephone line...make sure..u connect it after the splitter
