guys i have no firewall software like zone alarm pro etc. in my pc.my windows firewall is also turned off.i want to know is my computer at risk from intruders?and if so how can they enter into my computer?i have mt841 modem which has built in firewall but do i have to change settings in the modem to activate the firewall if so please tell me the procedure.and another thing does bsnl protects its users from outsiders through protective firewall like 24online isps?reply please

Being online without a firewall is definitly a risk. Try using some free firewalls or atleast turn on the windows firewall.

and using a firewall won't exactly ensure that you are safe. safety is a relative term here... if someone is smart and desperate enough... you would be compromised.
