In Conversation with Mr. Milind Deora - Minister of State for IT & Communications
As India progresses to a more Services based economy, Communications and IT form the backbone of this transition. Ministry of Communication and IT is working closely with the industry to bridge the digital divide and ensure connectivity is pervasive across the country.
Watch Minister of State for Information Technology and Communications Mr. Milind Deora in a Google+ Hangout taking your questions on 'Future of IT and Communications in India' and other prominent socio-political issues that concern young people.
Add your questions with the #askmilind and the top 3 most voted questions will have the opportunity to participate in the Google+ Hangout with Mr. Deora on June 6, 2013 at 7:00 PM.
The session will be moderated by Cyrus Broacha

interesting. Many politicians trying out the internet to connect...

lol. if they wanted to connect, it would be nice to see them on the roads where they can connect with common people.

Nope. Google+ Hangouts with politicians are heavily moderated. Questions are screened. Better is to held public conferences where they can answer direct questions from real people right in front of everyone.

Not all Hangouts on Air are completely open to public. You can watch the hangout but participants are selected in advance.Otherwise any random person can enter the hangout and cause nuisance. There is a good reason why they ask you to post your questions in advance.Cyrus would collect the questions. Would get them approved by the Minister's secretary (or whatever). And you would just see a moderated version of what it could have been.
