CDMA is good for data, but how is CDMA for voice quality? I never used CDMA phones.
If CDMA doesnt offer much difference compared to GSM in voice, then good move by Reliance to free CDMA spectrum.
Reliance Communications is undergoing a new round of restructuring, aimed at separating the mobile phone major's growing GSM business from the lagging CDMA operations, which could even be sold off at a later stage to pare debt.
Yup. Poor handsets basically killed it for us folks who prefer it over GSM. I had a pretty hateful argument with a douchebag who called me from the Tata Indicom retention department. I clearly told him that I have switched completely to my GSM Android phone. He said: Sarr... We have HTC One... You should buy it from us and use it with this Tata Indicom number. Just Rs. 45000. I yelled out some more profanities. His response: Sarr... If Rs. 45000 is too much, we also have cheaper Android phones starting at just Rs. 6000. I yelled out some more profanities and cut the line.
