Hav been enjoying downloading stuff on the Unltd connxn in Delhi; but this Static IP that MTNL has allotted me is killing me in link-removed.Earlier i used to just d/c & reconnect & voila a new IP, but now....Any soln to this problem..?Proxy servers..? how does that wrk??

I cant download even 1 kb from link-removed because it has blocked my ISP's proxy server, I use proxy all the time to download.
 
No, there is (till now) no possible way of changing your IP address in the 949 plan. This is a move taken by MTNL to prevent multiple access to a single connection. MTNL is getting better and smarter (not the customer care, though) by the day, in Mumbai, there is port binding, and now we have static IP's.
