Unlocking Huawei EC150 dongle?

there are tools which can help you with Huawei modems.
IS the modem having any specific Operator customized driver ?
you need to calculate the unlock code using the IMEI number and then use it to unlock.
I don't think posting a link for such a tool is allowed.

Unlocking is completely legal
 
EC 150 is a GSM modem.
I don't want to post any code calculator, don't wanna start blah blah
Modem is purchased by you so I don't think anyone should be able to sue you for modifying your purchased product.
it was sold and not leased to be precise 🙂

No this is not correct, Most operator provided Data card would be locked,.
Airtel would not let you run Voda sim and so on, So if you haven't purchased it from a Non-Mobile Provider shop, 99% modem will be locked to the
selling operator.
Once you unlock then only you can use any SIM CARD,
Its a small code, calculated using IMEI number, however shops these days take Rs.25-50 to do it for you 🙂
