should provide a much better experience than any stock unit provided by airtel or bsnl.
 
wireless one was for rs 892 why didn't u get that one ? 😛

btw what Spec. does one look for to know whats the coverage a WIfi modem can give ?
 
you would have to trust reviews to get an idea. more antennas are generally better. loads of models do not feature even one. :
TP-Link has models with three antennas. they are supposed to be quite good. my buffalo has two small antennas. it works well. i have around 90% coverage in my house. router is in the basement and it works practically everywhere on the ground floor except for one bathroom on the opposite side of the house which is sort of annoying coz I have to end up using 3G while well doing my business. :
 
i am pretty ok if i don't get any coverage in bathroom. :tongue:

they should totally mention the area the modem can cover atleast some minimum area or something would be helpful for sure!

ok I guess the expensive one has the lan port too being a modem 😛
 
They do I believe. But there are a lot of factors like walls and doors that would affect the coverage.
