First the censorship. Then the national anthem (in some states). Then the anti-smoking ads and banners. And now this.

From February 4, multiplexes and cinema houses in the city will screen a one-minute film on Protecting Women and Children in Cyberspace immediately after the national anthem.

The advisory will be narrated by nine celebrities, including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Anil Kapoor. The idea was conceptualized by the Mumbai police in collaboration with the National Association of Software and Services Companies (Nasscom) during as part of the Cyber Safety Month.

and very soon, a pledge to vote for congress before seeing the movie.

at this rate we will be watching a mini movie before the actual movie !! 😛
the best way is to watch all of it once and see how long it goes and from the next time arrive at the theatre say 15-20 mins late just in time for the movie 😀

A change will be made to have this displayed 30 mins into the movie as special interval instead of the beginning :sinister:

But the thing is, until some things are forced into our brains, v do not pick those up. Atleast the younger generation will get the awareness as they watch a movie, and they will learn to think for themselves.Even this is freedom of expression!

if ppl in this country need a short video to tell them not to molest women then i really think this country is a disgrace to mankind !!

No need of forcing, innovative ways do help

1. Dyslexia was conveyed in a very good way in Taare Zameen Par. If it was a message before a movie it would make no impact.
2. OMG highlighted facts when it came to god and religion. If one would stand of a stage and speak against god, he would probably be killed.

Probably there are other movies that i am not aware of.

But yes make these stupid things and one shall either wait for the movie to come on TV (without ads) or to come on DTH or the impatient ones will download it.
I am even sick with that 30 second cigarette message that keeps coming on TV every now and then. As if it is going to make any difference.

Actually, movies dont impact as much as these sort of forced feeding. Not in India. Especially if its spreading a good message. If that was the case, then u wudnt have had people still spending millions to "Donate" to temples. Mallya gave some 3 kg of gold to some temple? Instead of giving some money to the employees, he thinks that those nonsensical pseudo religious scholars will solve his woes? And, does he think that if there is God, then God is actually needing this "Donation" from him? How petty thoughts! On the contrary, look at Polio.....if at all, there wud be hardly a handful of new cases. (I know they claim it has gone away totally, but of course official numbers dont reveal the reality!)
