If you have the subscription then you can download songs from Nokia Music Player (software for PC), mostly i get 256kbps mp3 files.Also, you can only download from 1 PC that you have agreed to register while installing the player.

Purchased a Lumia 620. Now I have no idea whether the music is DRM free or what the bit-rate is, but Nokia seems to be having one of the most comprehensive music catalogues. Easily found the likes of Dreva Prema & Miten.

Tells me to connect my ovi music mobile via usb when it is already connected and recognised by Windows 8. Think I need to download the PC suite.

Yeah, had to download Zune. Still can't get it to download off the website. Might need do some googling!

lol. i thought they would have renamed the zune desktop app as something else by now!

Just can't get this to work. Zune does not seem to support WP8 devices. Ovi Music store gives that error. Will update if it works somehow.
Anyway, offtopic: WP8 store accepts Indian debit card. Hurray!
