Depends. Rcom 3G consistently outperforms airtel and Vodafone at the places I visit. That said, I'm a bit worried about what'll happen once Loop shuts down. Frankly Loop has the best 2G coverage in Mumbai, data speeds apart.

Hope they extend the aircel deal to Mumbai too.

With Loop about to shut down, rcom seems to have enabled roaming on aircel for Mumbai circle too!

Currently, rcom can connect to both Loop and Aircel, apart from its own network. Pretty awesome 😀

rcom still lacks in indoor 3g.
It has over dependency on other networks for 2G

Reliance GSM users can now connect to tata too, in Mumbai circle. 😀
thinking of ditching reliance as don't get to connect to their 3g network usually near my place. Also takes long for the phone to register an IP with the 3G network. Also they recently changed their 57, 116 (data+talktime) recharges from 3g to 2g. Also their 3G coverage is very flaky nowadays.

Indeed, 3G coverage has reduced. Still the only network that covers my college well, albeit with weaker signal strength now, have no option 🙁
