Vodafone 3G not working for last few days

Ok i have been using Vodafone 3G for last 6months and it was seamless.For Last one week it has not been very erratic.Half the time though the 3g/H+ icon will show and even the arrows will light up but i wont be able to open any website nor download anything.Also when the connection will be working i am not able to download anything from Playstore.Today i changed the settings to get the Edge network.Now i cam browse but still i cant download anything from the playstore.Help.Pleas.

Although not related but happened me with yesterday, nothing worked when on 3G mode but when i switched to EDGE things were working (albeit at super crappy speeds)

is it on prepaid or postpaid SIM ?go to settings-->wireless & network-->mobile networks-->do a few tweaks therecheck your GSM/UMTS Network preference.it can be WCDMA only for Strict 3G connectivity or you can use auto mode.Make sure you have correct APN under "Access Point Name" it should not get changed but if you changed sim or tried using another operator, some settings may have changed which can be a problem in some cases.I too used voda 3G for months, recently dropped it as connectivity tripped a lot since winters came.

I am facing the same issue in Faridabad for the last one week. Vodafone CCR is saying they don't have 3G in my area, but I was using it seamlessly for the last 4 months now only it is not working.God knows if they have shifted 3G towers from my area and don't serve it anymore 🙂
