Hi There

First of all, download the tar.gz file from the Dialer Download site

Once you have that saved somewhere (say /home/username/installs/sifyconnect.tar.gz)

you have to uncompress the package by rt clicking on it and uncompressing it to a new folder

So then you would have /home/username/installs/sifyconnect/(some files in this directory)

Open the terminal (shell), go to the directory where you uncompressed the dialer files and type

Code:
sudo ./install
(I'm not too sure, but I think it is install.sh)
It will ask you for your password for root (which will be the same password as your current password

then write
Code:
sudo ./sifyd
and then
Code:
./sifyconnect -l
Enter your username and password

Next time on, you just need to write ./sifyconnect -l

If after entering username and password you get a error msg saying "Get latest version of dialer" , etc, call up SIFY and tell them to unblock your MAC from their end since you are not able to log in thru linux

Lemme know if it helps
