BSNL 3G at Triplicane, Chennai - connects and disconnects again and again

I tried using BSNL 3G data card at Triplicane, Chennai. It shows HSUPA with couple of points in signal strength, it connects successfully and internet works. But, the signal kept on changing to GPRS, EDGE, UMTS and HSUPA. My outlook kept on disconnecting and connecting again and again due to this signal fluctuation. Even my TataPhoton+ is providing a better signal strenght with no disconnect in between. My suggestion for others is to try different cards from different service providers before taking a plan and not to go by the review from others. The signal strength varies a lot between neighbors and also between rooms. I am using the VISIONTEK 82GH USB based 3G dongle. Does anyone know a solution? Sometimes, the HSUPA signal strength stays the same without changing to GPRS/EDGE/UMTS, but still the disconnect happens in my outlook.
