I wish that Metro ethernet was available in my locality : I'll have to stick to ADSL.
BTW,a friend of mine talked to some "senior" engineer at reliance broadband about the dayum high pings and he said that their bandwidth is being used way more than they have.No. of connections have reached a super saturation point.At the moment,nothing is being done to fix the ping issue as nothing can be really done :
 
Is this issue related only to high pings or is it related to the ongoing packet loss issue as well? Please PM me the contact details of this "senior" engineer.
 
Hey Maniac123.. I am from chennai too.. I am thinking abt changing my broadband plan.. Do u recommend reliance broadband or can u recommend any other?
 
Reliance works like a charm for me so i will suggest Reliance for everyone, however their CC service and bandwidth changes accordingly from place to place.
If it works it does works.
I recommend you to enquire with your fellow neighbors(using Reliance Broadband) and come to conclusion.
