Indiatimes Mail shutting down early next year!



Pretty disgusting. I cannot see any details on:

1. if they are going to forward mails for existing users to their new email addresses.
2. how users can backup all their existing data stored on their servers.

do they offer free pop/imap?

Times group does not lack in resources, so it's weird for them shutting down their email service.

they probably got tired of dealing all the spammers in the world? but still a shitty move. considering email is one of the easiest way to retain users. rediff and in.com are doing a rather phenomenal job in that segment of the market.
