Bsnl broadband fire cracker problem!

This is really funny.. Some bozo lit a firecracker right under the bsnl dp pole.. Now my attenuation and snr figures have switched places...Snr 6; attenuation 40since its Diwali no lineman on call.. Will have to wait :-(Sucks when you have to wait for bsnl guys to turn up..P.s. the carbon black from the cracker deposits on the open wire joint.. Hence the problem.. Btw.. Happy Diwali everyone!
 
You could fix it yourself !
 
yeah just get some industrial alcohol and clean it with a brush... it could be loss of insulation ..
 
No industrial alcohol.. Only residential 😛But yeah.. The dp is a Web of wires.. Very difficult to know which one's mine.. And I'm not going to clean everyone's joints.. Hoping I hit mine 😛I'm trying to get hold of a electrician.. Lets see.. Btw.. @x720 Reliance net not available at my location..
 

I relay only on BSNL (coz no other provider), i am 5 km to exchange (their ready made reply), i never saw my SNR more then 6, on combo 850 since two yrs, speed max i saw 112 K KBps.....have to compromise ....
