Hello Guys , How i can get 5.1 audio from Tata Sky HD STB to Home theater ???currently i connected TATA sky STB to Sony LED KLV-32EX600 TV via HDMI cable !!!!and TV connected to HT via HDMI for viewing pictures in Tv....but how to get 5.1 audio from tata sky to HT ??i connected TV to HT via cable ( one side only one pin and second side 2/3 pins ) on headphone jack , but its gives only 2.1 audio !!so please help me for this !!
 
From what i have learnt by reading on this forum, you will have to connect the STB to the HT.
 
check for the optical / coaxial out on the HT.connect the appropriate cable (TS+ HD ships the coaxial cable). you could use a optical cable too if you want.(can be purchased anywhere online or electronic store)If the HT only has optical input(TOSLINK) then buy the appropriate cable online or in a store for connecting.The rest of the config would be HT specific. please do mention the HT model number.
