length and thickness would be fine, breadth could be tricky. I'd say there's between 0.5-1cm of headroom.
 
The latest CyanogenMod 10.1 nightly allows you to edit the navigation bar as well. Pretty decent update. Also the CM kernel seems to behave better with WiFi on. On the stock ROM, battery life got killed with WiFi on.
 
Sorry for hijacking your thread but I need help with nexus 7.
I did a factory reset and now when its restarting, after the nexus logo comes, the phone tab starts searching for wifi netowrks and won't proceed to next screen. What should I do?
 
No i don't have it at home. But I do have it at my friend's place.
What actually concerns me is that my friend forgot the password og gmail account associated with this device since he created an dummy account with gmail and used it to setup this tab.
So I thought factory resetting this tab would clear the account associated with it. would it?
PS: Iam a noob with tablets and this is my first tab.
 
I think i read somewhere that it is not possible to set it up without wifi.
 

yes. Thats what Iam worried.
Will take tab to friend's house to check with wifi in a couple of hours.
after welcome screen, the tab goes on searching for wifi.
OS is 4.2.2 ..(maybe some settings were changed in this update)
