Query about using MTNL 3G in Pune on Bsnl

I wish to get MTNL 3G Mumbai sim card for using it dedicatedly in Pune over Bsnl network. I am more interested in the quarterly 9GB plan. I wish to know...1. Can I get any MTNL sim from any exchange in Mumbai to be used for 3G? Or is there a special sim I need to ask for ?2. After getting the sim, what first recharge I need to do to get things started ? Or I can straightway do a test 3G recharge so I can first test the connection at my place in Pune ?3. Any minimum balance I need to keep in the sim card to keep 3G going on ?4. I believe I can use MTNL 3G in Pune without incurring any roaming charges, right ?

1) All new MTNL sim are 3g enabled.2) If i remember there used to be few rupees in it when the sim gets activated else you can go for a 100-300rs recharge to check the 3g speed3) If its for 3g alone you don't require any minimum calling balance.4) U can use MTNL sim anywhere throughout India without roaming charges on BSNL network
