Is there any official dictate on the max length to which the connection can be provided. I am being told 110 mts. Is this correct or just omehing deviced by technical team locally... What is the official word regarding this from Reliance. CC has no idea about this..

nope no one have any idea ...but start from 100+ i guess ........and this is upto local tech team

I thought they only deal with mobile phone customers & not broadband except for bill payment..

@shashank983... So 100+ distance is off-limit for new connections if technician is not convinced..
 
so called ''FEASABILITY'' has got some beta version now...my city just got added under broadband list...You might wanna check yours as well... 😉

all depend on local tech team and area sales manager ...... if he can think he will get more connection he can install DLC BOX near your home tooo
 
Hi Guyz! ADSL2+ can handle max 24Mbps Download and 1Mbps Upload (practically can go upto 1.3 Mpbs). Provided your copper strenght and all matters too. but who just want Download speed we need good upload speeds too. So practically no point with only high download speed.Regards!
 
Whatever it may be but the best Option is to Lay Fiber cables across all India, it will be a bit costly but it's a one time Investment in Your Life, cause Max Speed that Fiber cables can handle is more than ten's and hundreds of Terabits per second of bandwidth, now think like this 1Terabit Unlimited connection in India to apply in every home would take many centuries if the pace of Progress in India is Like this but Google and many developed nations have already adopted Fiber cable Systems and have been settled for life for their Wiring needs.🙂
 
hey just asked reliance guy today he said there is nothing like distance 100+ from DLC box ... they said we giving connection to any distance ... ( just in my city - Ahmadabad )reliance have fully fiber optics cable in my city ..........ahmedabad .... they installed between middle of road ....all around city

reliance have fully fiber optics cable in my city ..........ahmedabad .... they installed between middle of road ....all around city

Yes. they have laid fiber to almost all the streets here in ahmedabad. But sales are poor.
so far online form didnt work for me. i have submitted twice the form for connection. yet to hear from them. you have any local sales guy number. PM me if you have any.
