Firefox - searching takes to malware website

i do not know how this website came but whenever i try to go search or type some non existent website in search bar in firefox i takes me to woobiu.com. even homepage becomes this after i searhc. other browser like chrome and ie is fine. even after i remove default this comes back. virus scanner shows nothing. not much help i got online. any idea how to remove?

Someone else with similar problem -

right. looks like a malware add-on. i guess KRK is using a shady browser extension.

Now, if KRK's twitter account gets hacked again, then we will know this guy is indeed KRK himself! 😀

Well, KRK cannot speak 3 lines without adding some nonsense... So I would say, unlikely.

thanks for help but it did not work directly. there is no reset firefox button when i click troubleshooting as said however using that aboutconfig I found babylon conduit like unknown names and cleared all entries and then it worked

Now, if KRK's twitter account gets hacked again, then we will know this guy is indeed KRK himself! 😀

after he protect his twits his follower count is over 75000
