'Justice League' Deleted Scene Reveals Extended Mera And Steppenwolf Fight

To be clear, the new video is extended previz footage of Steppenwolf's journey to Atlantis to take the Mother Box they are holding. Still, it holds a few noteworthy things. For one the sequence is extended from the one seen in the trailer, specifically in the part where Steppenwolf is holding Mera against the wall.

In the theatrical scene he grabs her neck and slams her into the wall, then quickly throws her to the ground. In the pre-viz scene though this moment lasts longer, and she's actually using her Aquakinses to try and fend him off for a bit, and it seems to stun him just enough that he throws her to the ground in frustration.

Warner Bros. Says Ray Fisher Not Cooperating with 'Justice League' Misconduct Investigation | Hollywood Reporter

Warner Bros. has accused Justice League actor Ray Fisher of not cooperating with a misconduct investigation and backed its DC Films president Walter Hamada in a statement late Friday night.

On Friday, Fisher tweeted that Hamada "attempted to throw Joss Whedon and Jon Berg under the bus in hopes that I would relent on Geoff Johns." Johns is a star DC Comics writer

In a statement Friday, a studio spokesperson defended Hamada, saying, "At no time did Mr. Hamada ever 'throw anyone under the bus,' as Mr. Fisher has falsely claimed, or render any judgments about the Justice League production, in which Mr. Hamada had no involvement since filming occurred before Mr. Hamada was elevated to his current position."
