Hi everyone,I am a new member to this forum and this is my first post.i am a BSNL broadband customer from about 4 years.......i am on 600 combo plan(2.5 gb limit and night unlimited).I am having a poor line rate of 1503 kbps(keeps varying).the adsl statistics on router page shows:SNR : 3.8db(downstream) 16.6db(upstream)Attenuation : 59.5db 35.7dbthe internet repeatedly get disconnected, and is very inconsistent, the connection status becomes "ADSL Link Down" from "up" when disconnected.what can be done about this problem? if i have to complain to BSNL Broadband department, is there a specific section for such problems?plz suggest.thank you.

Get your line replaced. Make sure there are no joints or non insulated parts.

i am facing similar problem .. In my case there is a box setup by BSNL and i have parallel connection to my Phone on one side of the building and BB modem on the other side. I have soldered the connection but the box is open to elements...I am using non BSNL wire for the BB connection....how much of a problem is that ?
