Not a bad way to kill an hour. The action scenes were done well. The ambience was a bit dark though. Stephen Amell's voice-over should stop. And Katie Cassidy needs to be given more to do.
I noticed the Deathstroke mask on the island in the opening sequence. So, I did some research (wiki) on Deathstroke. It seems Deathstroke (Slade Wilson, known originally simply as the Terminator) is about to take out Green Lantern but is stopped by Green Arrow who shoots him in the eye and thus saves Green Lantern. Deathstroke is a multi-talented super villain in the DC Universe.
In the near future, we will be seeing DC characters China White (in Episode 2) and Deadshot (in Episode 3).
Never.Avengers = Marvel ComicsGreen Arrow = DC comics.BTW, the voice over on Dexter can sometimes treat the viewer as dumb. For example, Dexter saying, "I need to check Louis' laptop." I mean, come on...
lol. he is not talking to the audience. he is talking to himself. we talk to ourselves internally when we are thinking what i should be doing in a certain situation. he is just doing the same. yes, they could have only make him talk the juicy important bits. but that would become more like... they think we are stupid and that's why they explain everything that is not really apparent in that situation 😀
Yeah. That's called "internal dialogue."Most of Jeffrey Donovan's voice over on Burn Notice goes like, "when a spy is in such and such situation..."Burn Notice is still kicking ass in it's 6th season.
lol. just saw the first episode. looks sad. the dude spent 5 years on a remote island and is back hacking bank accounts online. 😀 i guess i need to cut it some slack. it was entertaining. right. but characters are weak.
