Sony Xperia Tipo or HTC Explorer

Sony Xperia Tipo or HTC Explorergetting it for my cousinusage-moderate surfing-moderate gaming- camera-office document viewing- moderate app usageand normal phone usage .have also samsung ace in mind .wont need a 4" phone or higher Ram or higher CPU performancealmost all fall in same price segment except for ace which costs 2k morespecs , display , ram , cpu etcwhich one should i chose ?

Both phones are similar in specs. but explorer was released last year and tipo this year. Also tipo looks good IMO.Also Sony branding ..HTC is prevalent while sony is new in sub 10k category

Tipo, no doubt. But make sure you test the phone before you buy it. Lots of problems in the tipo handset these days, most are going for DOA.

The explorer is underpowered and outdated. Tipo is new and latest.

Both have the same processor TIPO is clocked at 200mhz more plus it has ICS , it also has 1 gb internal storage , explorer has only around 120 mb , TIPO single sim was available today for 8k on homeshop18 dont know if still available
