NCR is normally taken as a single telecom circle. But whether they actually launch in cities other than Delhi in NCR remains to be seen. Gurgaon and NOIDA/Ghaziabad may be included in the launch.

For the first 2 years 5G will be just like 4G. Maybe few improvements in speeds & latency but not much...

Wow, government finally gave the satellite spectrum to telcos because the previous 5G auction over exceeded their expectations. Government trying to make more money from spectrum and pouring it into BSNL revival 😁

I don't think BSNL is going to be revived anytime soon. It will proceed at a snail's pace till majority customers have migrated to 5G, then with great pompous, someone from Red Fort will claim that BSNl has been truly revived with allocation of some leftover 4G spectrum.

I wish BSNL could have been in a better state today and our PM could have proudly said "BSNL will be the first operator in India to provide 5G services". But right now it's not even true for 4G 😔.

BSNL should give up on 4G at this point. If gov wants to do something at least they should move BSNL to 5G to get back in the game.
