YouTube Buffering on Airtel Broadband?

Horribly at my end. I have not tried switching to Airtel's own DNS. But I have never seen it this slow. It's worse than what I usually get through my VPN!
 
Airtel is now down here .. The PPP link shows up .. but laptop shows limited connectivity ..

What?? Youtube usually does not buffer on airtel??

I have a 4 mbps connection and it always buffers for me 🙁 but strangely my torrent downloads are no longer throttled (for around 3-4 moths now) 🙂
 
well i do not really care about the quality so i watch it at 360p.and yeah. torrents seem to be fine for me too. i still use VPN for privacy's sake (that kerala incident or whatever).
 
I am facing the same problem. I am on a 4Mbps connection and videos are buffering even when streamed at 360p. Frustrating.
 
Even I faced the same problem last night....YouTube and Google was not even loading for several minutesAnd to make things worse we had intermittent power outages due to transformer blast or some nonsense. Now I have to wait for water to fill the sump or order from private tanker suppliers. The s**t has hit the fan in this city....yesterday the traffic cops fixed an overflowing manhole on their own when the concerned department did not arrive on time.
 

Works fine for me with 720p also... Plan: 4MB/s, Turbo 150GB...
 
had some problem like this month ago.. i usually just restarted them modem...this spoilt olympics for me 🙁
