There was a similar offer on N8 when N8 was launched. Even that offer said, no need to activate, it will be activated automatically. It didn't happen. I emailed 121@in.airtel.com and they activated it immediately.
 
is it .. but i think this is best deal for any one who is looking for modile between 14-15k .. configuration is superb .. and os is not that bad ...
