Is airtel cheating me ? Please Help !!

Two weeks back i migrated to airtel's new broadband plan - 4MBps, 40GB plan. Ever since i did this, i am having a torrid time. The speeds are extremely inconsistent. I dont use torrents. I dont download either. I use my net only for streaming videos and watching movies. Now half my videos buffer be it on Youtube or dailymotion or any other video site. Earlier i had a 2MBps connection and had no problems whatsoever. Technically 4MBps should be a perfect fit for my kinda usage and it should work properly. But it ain't happening.I have placed a complaint with airtel cc 3 times so far. While they have attended me promptly, the issue has not been resolved. It works fine for a couple of hours and then the issue would be back again. If i check on Speedtest.net i get 4 MBps speed. But when i stream any video it buffers. If i download any file from apple.com or microsoft.com , it shows varying speeds. Sometimes i get 400KBps and i start believing that now the issue is resolved. Then on seeing videos buffer, i check download speeds again and it would be downloading at 100 or 150 KBps. Worst part is, speeds drop below 1Mbps or 512KBps at times and leave me totally frustrated.No problems with my system, i have checked it. Moreover, all was working fine before the plan change. I am absolutely clueless now. Can someone please help me out.Edit : When i say buffering, i mean it buffers like a 128KBps or 256KBps net connection which makes streaming a nightmare.
 
try playing around with different dns services. try youtube speeds on airtel dns servers.
 
airtel is giving problems with youtube recently.I have also noticed this and posted a thread.There has not been any solution yet.
