Hi friends, Line Rate - Upstream (Kbps): 493Line Rate - Downstream (Kbps): 1996LAN IP Address: 192.168.1.1Default Gateway: 117.198.240.1Primary DNS Server: 218.248.255.141Secondary DNS Server: 218.248.245.1 Mine is a 500 combo(night unlimited) plan and these are my current info. The download speed I can reach is max 195-200kbps(varies). What do I do or whom to contact to increase it appropriately for the plan which I think is around 240 kbps. I am from mysore, Karnataka. Also I checked the ADSL statistics Mode: ADSL2+ Line Coding: Trellis On Status: No Defect Link Power State: L0 Downstream UpstreamSNR Margin (dB): 11.3 19.9 Attenuation (dB): 59.0 34.7 Output Power (dBm): 12.6 15.3 Attainable Rate (Kbps): 3798 973 Rate (Kbps): 1996 493 MSGc (number of bytes in overhead channel message): 70 14 B (number of bytes in Mux Data Frame): 24 46 M (number of Mux Data Frames in FEC Data Frame): 1 1 T (Mux Data Frames over sync bytes): 2 1 R (number of check bytes in FEC Data Frame): 16 14 S (ratio of FEC over PMD Data Frame length): 0.4249 3.2105 L (number of bits in PMD Data Frame): 772 152 D (interleaver depth): 64 8 Delay (msec): 6 6 Are they correct? please help. I have checked by using different settings in the DSL modulation settings and not much change.

you need to ask exchange people to change your downstream rate to more than 2500kbps from existing 1996.you speed will be limited to usually 1.6mbps when downstream 1996...that is my observation,i really dont why its limited to 1.6mpbs (technical part i dont know)
