Movie was originally made almost 10 years ago and was never released for unknown reasons.

that explains why this movie looks like from the 90s.

Never released? Whoever said that. It released, it bombed, and it is also available on DVD. Sharman was apparently 'unhappy' that this film was trying to 'cash in' on his 'success' post 3 Idiots and Ferrari Ki Sawaari. Right.
 
wikipedia states that this was released in july this year! videos posted by eros were the first time i got to hear about this piece of crap 😀
 
He probably signed this as one of the first movies after his successful "Style" in 2001 or maybe while it was still in progress.
