safest malware tool for windows 7!

i can see some black square on my screen on windows 7, but before it could show anything , it just minimizes itself towards start menu button, its been happening since 2-3 days, i have norton 360 installed already but i think i need a malware removal tool or app or something.

which should be pretty safe to play with and not messup my system...........last time i used a malware tool in my previous laptop .IT HAD ****ED MY WHOLE WINDOWS XP INSTALLATION TO THE CORE, DONT REMEMBER NAME
