Getting half the speed of my 1mb connection

While I should normally be getting 125kbps download speed, I'm only getting 62-64kbps on http/torrent downloads. I'm also posting a picture of my statistics, is there anything wrong here? Btw I'm on the old 30gb 2mb connection then fup after that 1mbps.

Torrent download speed may not always be good...I was getting around the same speed (512 kbps) when I had the same plan as yours. I migrated to 4mbps/150gb and torrent speed has greatly improved....I guess now Airtel wants me to download faster to force me to buy SmartBytes. :blackeyed:
 
also. torrents on airtel broadband are throttled during the day time. very heavily throttled.
 
Now that you mention it I woke up early today and just now checked a torrent and the speed is 125kbps as it should be. Starting to thinking Airtel gets off on throttling our speeds like that. :wilt:
 
yeah. torrent speeds are messed up between 10am and 10pm i think. i use a paid VPN to get around it these days. sucks. but you gotta do what you gotta do!
 
I've decided to use a paid VPN as well. Which one are you using? 🙂
