Today we're announcing that after so many years of helping you deepen friendships, we will be shutting down Hike Sticker Chat at 11.59pm on 14th Jan, 2021. We thank you for creating amazing memories with us on Hike Sticker Chat and giving us your love and trust for so many years We wouldn’t be here without each and every one of you. Our Hike journey moves to 2 new exciting apps and we sincerely hope you will join us on the next chapter in our journey!'

Hike this announced the closure of its main chat app and decided to focus on dating and socialising via ' Hike Vibe' app, and gaming through ' Hike Rush' app.

Hike was trying to monetise it from the looks of it.

selling sticker bundles do not fund an entire platform like that lol. chat is like email. there is no decent indian email service as well. because they cost a lot to run and are hard to monetize.

Hike Sticker chat, which was launched back in December 2012 has been shut down and removed from Google Play-store and Apple’s App Store.
