MTNL Mumbai makes Tall Claims about their 3G services but see what I get on their Dolphin network in Vashi Navi Mumbai.Download speed: 14 kpbs.Upload speed: 18kpbs.Ping: 574ms.Vodafone gives 10 times this speed on their 2G networks even in rural areas.

I've roamed around a lot in Vashi. Get around approx 2mbps. Vodafone doesn't provide unlimited plans... but if 10-15gb is all you need, by all means go for vodafone.

u should come to south Delhi there is not even a network tower LOL !and MTNL Delhi love to torture their customers!

May be what you experienced was true in the past and probably there is something wrong with their system now. I will wait and see if things get better. Or else I will switch to Vodafone.
