I dont know how many are affected by this, but surely its a big issue in Bangalore.No sane person agrees to go out in the night (unless in a 4 wheeler) just because of these monsters.In rest of India the street dogs are weak and calm, its the opposite in Bangalore. They are fat (a la hounds, not exaggerating) and violent once the night cometh!Donno why the BBMP does not take care of it, but stray dogs are very dangerous out here.I have so many stories, one just couple of days back.Does anyone had the same experience else where?

In Chennai, its a problem mainly in streets. And particularly certain sections of the streets. My house is in the main road so I am less affected. Also, the dogs around my area seem pretty used to me (not sure of others), as even if they come close, they seem to step away as long as I remain calm (and I have spent some late hours at office and returned home past midnight as well)
