The good thing for Loop mobile is to get sold to one of the big three; otherwise it is doomed. Loop is attractive buy for its 900 Mhz spectrum. Starting next year, there will be no charges for pan india roaming and it'd be very difficult for loop mobile as they don't have any coverage beyond mumbai. Maybe Idea should seriously think about acquiring loop mobile. They will be able to beat everyone in the Mumbai circle hands down.

If Idea has license in Mumbai then I guess they cannot buy Loop Mobile.Last time they did same thing by buying Spice Mobile (in Punjab I think), they were fined as they then had 2 license in 1 circle.

yes loop mobile has no future in mumbai.
but idea wont buy it
essar has some shares in loop as well as in vodafone... i think loop will merge with vodafone in future.
