Planning to buy new tablet

new ipad would be very expensive. Do you need 3G? If not ipad2 wi-fi is available for 24.5.

Sim card would be in the 3G model which costs 32+ for ipad2.In that case, Samsung Tab 2 looks ok, otherwise need to look at more local brands.

Retina display is totally worth it if you can stretch your budget.

Well,Samsung Tab 2 is 20kipad2 would be 32kipad3/new ipad would be around 38kBut one major difference is that Tab2 is 7" whereas ipad is closer to 10" (9.7" that is)So if you want a bigger tablet, i.e. 10" , You might find other older Andorid tablets in the market like Motorola Xoom, Samsung's 2-3 models etc, but they are likely to be stuck at Honeycomb .. for ever.
