Google My Tracks gets a major update with version 2

I love this app though I rarely use it these days. It is pretty cool to use if you are traveling over a long distance.

- new location provider for better accuracy and battery usage- automatically detect walking, biking, and driving- new stats view- new landscape view- select multiple tracks- merge tracks and play them in Google Earth

I want to use it today but the problem is that the battery won't last through the journey and I doubt I would have access to a recharging port in the tempo traveler :
I should have invested in a portable phone charger 😛
