thanks armaan and volcano.the total count of True HD channels is 17 on DISH as on date.1080i is there on all channels. 5.1 status unknown. Buggers dont ship the optical cable with the box. the STB doesnt have any coaxial out. Still waiting for my optical cable to arrive from ebay.

update. Only Movies now is in 5.1.
